1. Acceptance of These Terms

By downloading, installing, or using VoiceInput, or by purchasing a Pro subscription or license, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or purchase a license.

2. The Service

VoiceInput ("声忆", "the app", "the Service") is a voice input product with two components: a macOS menu bar app and an iOS keyboard extension. It converts speech to text using cloud and on-device recognition engines, offers "AI Tidy" to clean up and organize recognized text, and can route captured text to destinations you configure (such as flomo, Notion, 语雀, or email). Some features run entirely on your device or with an API key you supply; others require an internet connection to cloud recognition or AI services.

3. Plans, Subscriptions & Licenses

VoiceInput is offered under a Free plan, a "Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK) free plan, and Pro plans (Monthly, Annual, and a limited Lifetime option). Current pricing and feature limits for each plan are published at /pricing and may change from time to time; the version shown at checkout applies to your purchase.

A Pro license is for personal use and may be active on up to 3 devices at a time; you can view and unbind devices from My Account. License activation is tied to the email address used at purchase — sign-in uses a passwordless magic link, not a traditional account password.

4. Payments — Paddle as Merchant of Record

All payments for Pro subscriptions and licenses are processed by Paddle.com, our payment provider and Merchant of Record. Paddle is the authorized reseller of VoiceInput licenses: your order confirmation, receipt, and invoice come from Paddle, and Paddle collects and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT. By making a purchase you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Conditions. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

5. Refunds & Cancellation

Purchases are covered by our 14-day money-back guarantee — see the full Refund Policy for details on how to request one. Monthly and Annual subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from My Account or Paddle's customer portal; a cancelled subscription remains active through the end of the current billing period and will not renew afterward.

6. Acceptable Use

• Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the app or its recognition/AI models beyond what applicable law permits.
• Do not activate a single license on more devices than your plan allows, or share license credentials to circumvent device limits.
• Do not abuse the referral program (for example, self-referrals or fake accounts) to obtain rewards you are not entitled to.
• Do not use VoiceInput to process content that is illegal, infringing, or that violates the rights of others.

We may suspend a license involved in suspected abuse while we investigate.

7. Intellectual Property

VoiceInput, its name, logo, and app/website content are owned by the developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your license grants you the right to use the app under these Terms; it does not transfer ownership of the software to you. You retain all rights to the voice recordings and text you create or process using VoiceInput.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

VoiceInput is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that speech recognition or AI Tidy output will be error-free, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or available at all times, since parts of it depend on third-party cloud services outside our control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of VoiceInput or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Changes, Termination & Governing Law

We may update these Terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest revision, and continued use of VoiceInput after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We may suspend or terminate a license for violation of these Terms, including the Acceptable Use section above. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. We aim to resolve any disagreement informally — please contact us first before pursuing any other remedy.
